CA CUPERTINO, Apple Business Essentials is now accessible to all small companies in the United States, according to the company. The new service bundles device management, Apple support, and iCloud storage into a variety of subscription options.
Apple also introduced new AppleCare+ for Business Essentials plans, which can be added to any existing plan. All clients, including those who have been using Apple Business Essentials in beta, will be able to take advantage of a two-month free trial.
"Apple has a long-standing commitment to assisting small businesses in their growth. Our objective is to help each firm develop, compete, and win, from specialized business teams in our stores to the App Store Small Business Program," said Susan Prescott, Apple's vice president of Enterprise and Education Marketing.
"We're excited to provide Apple Business Essentials to even more small businesses, making device administration, storage, support, and repairs even easier." Customers who use this new service save time — especially those who don't have specialized IT employees — which they can put back into their business."
Apple Business Essentials provides robust security, priority support, and data storage and backup for small companies across the device management life cycle – from device setup to device updates.
The entire solution starts with simple staff onboarding, which allows a small firm to configure, install, and manage Apple goods from anywhere.
Groups of apps may be provided to employees or teams, and settings, such as VPN setups and Wi-Fi passwords, can be automatically sent to devices using the Collections feature.
Using a Managed Apple ID, employees check in to their work account on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac. They'll have access to everything they need to be productive after they sign in, including the new Apple Business Essentials app, which allows users to download business apps.
Employees may log in to their smartphone with a single company username and password by federating with Microsoft Azure Active Directory and, coming later this spring, with Google Workspace identity services.
Apple Business Essentials works with both company-provided and individually owned devices, and thanks to Apple's User Enrollment feature, employees' personal information is kept private and encrypted from business data.
In addition to a simplified setup, Apple Business Essentials includes a dedicated iCloud work account for easy and secure file and document storage, backup, and collaboration.
On iPhone or iPad, business data is automatically saved and backed up, making it simple to migrate to a new device. iCloud Drive also syncs data between Macs, making it simple to switch between devices at work.
